      The FORMATH research group is voluntarily established in March, 2001 among those who have an interest in forest resource management and mathematical modeling.
      After the first symposium took place at Nagoya University in 2001, eight symposia were held in Tokyo, Tsukuba, Nagoya, Kyoto, Fukuoka and Kobe.
      This time, we are glad to announce our 10th anniversary of FORMATH Symposium to be held as the 10-th symposium in Tachikawa, Tokyo.
      With the main theme of "Forest Resource Management & Mathematical Modeling", the objective of the FORMATH symposium is to invite researchers, practitioners and other related individuals in this field in order to exchange ideas, methodologies and information of their own.
