The FORMATH journal is an official journal of the FORMATH Research Society, and a peer-reviewed multi-disciplinary forestry journal dealing with all aspects related to "Forest Resources and Mathematical Modeling".
Its aims are to publish original papers and to enhance communications amongst researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and specialists concerned with forest resource management.
The FORMATH journall is currently published by one issue per year consisting of papers mostly presented at its annual meeting of the FORMATH Research Society, that are considered suitable for publication. Papers considered for publications are not limited to those presented at the annual meeting. All submitted papers must be previously unpublished, they should be well-written, and we encourage grace as well as clarity. The papers should also be written in a style that is understandable to broad readers including students, researchers, specialists, and policymakers working on forest resource management.
It must be noted that acceptance for publication is subject to a vigorous refereeing process. Also there are three categories for publication. "Scientific Category" emphasizes on scientific findings while "Discussion Category" is devoted to a new issue requiring scientific works. The last category is “Short Communications”, which may be a short, peer-reviewed articles focusing on a high-quality, activity-driven, self-contained piece of original work and/or the report of focused activities based on existing research. They should be of significance and broad interest to readers of The FORMATH journal. The suitable category is determined through the review process.
